2016 Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay
The San Gabriel Officers' Association is once again proud to sponsor the running team comprised of members from the San Gabriel, Vernon, and Pasadena City College police departments.
Each year for the past 32 years, members from law enforcement agencies from around the world converge on the City of Las Vegas for the annual Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay Race, which takes place on the weekend of March 19 and 20. The Baker to Vegas (B2V) race is a 120 mile long, 20 leg, relay race from the City of Baker, California to Las Vegas, Nevada. Twenty runners from every team will each run their respective legs through the desert and mountains from California to Nevada.
The running team from the San Gabriel Police Department has been training hard all year long, and feel very confident that this year's team will surpass last year's fifth place finish.
Please join us in wishing the San Gabriel, Vernon, and Pasadena City College running team the best of luck. We know they will make the City of San Gabriel proud, as they have each year.
Anyone interested in supporting or sponsoring the San Gabriel P.D. "Baker to Vegas" running team can call the SGPOA at (626) 899-8875 to find out how.
